It's someone's BIRTHDAY today! :)

Someone VERY SPECIAL to all of us!

When he was born in 1940 - there were surely NO BIRTHDAY wishes to be found on the "INTERNET" on a "BLOG", on "FACEBOOK", or via a "TWITTER" update!!

No cell phones to call the DOCTOR . . . .

or the SNOWPLOW who had to plow the Doctor to the house . . .

He was born in the middle of a SNOWSTORM, don't you know??

No DIGITAL CAMERAS to capture that scale that read 12 POUNDS - really, are you sure?? That's the story I've heard my WHOLE life!! :)

No SUV's with BLUETOOTH connections for calling home from camp without picking up that CELL PHONE . . . no GPS to help you if you get lost . . .

No FOUR WHEELERS to go tearing around the woods on . . .

and no GAME TRACKER CAMERAS to see what was snacking on your deer (or bear) food while you weren't sitting there waiting for the big one! :)

In those 70 years, we sure have seen lots of advancements in TECHNOLOGY - and you have kept up with all of them!! :)
